Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel

More then 25 years ago I had Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel's 's song Make Me Smile
on the back of my mind all the time.
Reminiscing about schooldays, first love and youth in general brings
back many happy moments.

Time went by.

I married Karin, a "Steve Harley Fan" in 1986, long after Steve
had quit the "public scene" as a pop-artist.
Karin and I often fantasized we'd once be able to see Steve Harley live.

This dream finally came true. In 1989 we went to concerts in
Tilburg and Rotterdam. Ever since we won't let an opportunity
pass by to see him perform.

We have kids of our own now.
Brigitte is 16. Vincent 14.
And the funny thing is they enjoy Steve's music too!
We love listening in on them when they hum along with the
words of Steve's songs.
